Andrew Gold was a graduate student in the American Studies program. He began his studies at San Diego Mesa College, and finished his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles.

His research dives into the socio-economic disparities in underserved communities, focusing on civil unrest, insurrections, and the growth of mass-incarceration in the United States.

As a graduate student, he hopes to continue his research on mass-incarceration, the unjust practices within our justice system, and the increasing wealth gap.
