Diviya is from Tucson, AZ double majoring in Race & Ethnicity Studies and Biological Sciences and is strongly interested in minority health issues, border politics, immigrant identity, and public/global health development. On campus, she is co-president of GlobeMed, a global health equity student organization, and is highly involved in Project for the Homeless, the Model United Nations Travel Team, and Alpha Chi Omega. Diviya hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of medicine and public policy, working to increase health care access in border and conflict zones.
