Ashley entered the M.A. in American Studies program in Fall 2020. She is studying the intersections of race, class, and gender. More specifically, she is conducting research on Black women in American society and the current mental health crisis in the country. She is also the President of Columbia University’s Arts & Sciences Graduate Council for the 2021-2022 academic year.
