For its second Pedagogy in Practice session, the Barnard Center for Engaged Pedagogy and Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning are thrilled to feature Monica Miller (Professor and Chair of the Department of Africana Studies) and Alice Reagan (Professor of Professional Practice and Chair of the Department of Theater). Prof. Miller and Prof. Reagan will discuss and demonstrate their approaches to teaching Zora Neale Hurston. Following their demos, the event will move into an open discussion about how these teaching methods might resonate in your own teaching context.

CEP and CTL welcome faculty, students, and staff from Columbia University, Barnard College, Teachers College, Union Theological Seminary, and Jewish Theological Seminary.

This workshop will take place in-person in the South Tower, Helene L. Kaplan Suite on Thursday, March 12 from 12 – 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided.
