Noël Seulgi Um-Lo is a PhD candidate whose research interests include educational anthropology, migration/mobilities, governmentality and citizenship on the Korean peninsula. Her teaching appointments have been in the Anthropology, Education, and Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures departments at Columbia/Barnard, and the International and Transcultural Studies department at Teachers College.
