Matt Sandler

Matt Sandler has a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia. He previously taught at Louisiana State University, Gettysburg College, and the University of Oregon. His first book, The Black Romantic Revolution: Abolitionist Poets at the End of Slavery, was published in 2020. He is an active member of the Bigger 6 Collective, a group devoted to decolonizing the study of nineteenth-century culture.
